Q. Describe the most common types of jobs you do for your clients.

A. Photo shoots. I've done a lot of work with car clubs and shows and smaller scale fashion shows held in Sacramento Nigh Life venues.

Q. What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

A. If you are hiring someone like me for a special occasion, make sure you are provided with a printed sample of our work, a work of mouth recommendation/reference and a well in advance consultation. There is nothing like having high expectations and when the big day comes, you are disappointed. I ensure that my clients are satisfied from the time I meet their acquaintance until the time that their session with me is complete.

Q. What important information should buyers have thought through before seeking you out?

A. The most important information you should know is yourself and what it is you are looking to gain from the experience. Once you know that, it's all in finding the right person to execute the task properly and professionally.

Q. Why does your work stand out from others who do what you do?

A. I stand out from my competition because I believe in true beauty. I take my clients on a journey and help them realize their beauty and flaws and how to really Own the two together and not keep them apart. Additionally, I do hair, makeup and provide personal assisting to ensure that my clients have a complete and Glamorous service with me.

Q. What do you like most about your job?

A. I love my clients. Everyone has their own story and I am truly honored when they allow me to have a scene in one or more chapters in their lives. I have made many new friendships and have watched families grow.

Q. What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?

A. What I did before my current job and why did I quit. My answer is simply, I was not driven or motivated by what corporate America could have provided for me. Life is too short to conform to the robotics of being a social climber. And, I didn't LOVE what I did so my happiness was more important than a healthy salary.

Q. What do you wish customers knew about you or your profession?

A. Not all of us are shallow. There are still quite a few of us in this industry that believe that everyone possesses something beautiful. I feel that in my position, it is my duty to ensure that my clients believe this as well.

Q. How did you decide to get in your line of work?

A. I was blessed to grow up around a lot of classy and elegant ladies whom loved to put their best forward. No, they were not "super models" according to society, but you would have been fooled by the way they carried themselves as real ladies and treated others in their presence.

Q. Do you do any sort of continuing education to stay up on the latest developments in your field?

A. Research and extended education are my passion. I love to learn new things about my industry and love even more to share with my clients. With my makeup applications I also provide a makeup lesson service as well as hosting makeup parties.

Q. If you were advising someone who wanted to get into your profession, what would you suggest?

A. Make sure you love it, because when you don't your clients can tell.
