We had an absolutely perfect and pleasant time working with Chef Arturo and his wife, Martha. We are located in the South Bay, CA and they're located in Northern California in Sacramento. First of all, we had a 400 person wedding. From their initial reach out to last interaction we never ran into an issue. We were invited into their home for a tasting and they value getting to know who they're going to serve before the event. I appreciate as an event coordinator that they require they visit the facilities before the event as well so that everyone is on the same page. The most compliments we received about our wedding was about the food. It's not easy preparing quality food for this amount of people, and every single person was satisfied with the appetizers and buffet style dinner that was served. They worked within our payment plan suggestions, kept in contact over the months leading up to the wedding, worked well with our wedding coordinator, and easy pulled this event off without expressing any type of stress towards us (the bride and groom). If we ever have a larger event that needs catering again, we will be using our new friends, Arturo and Martha.

Arturo and Taste for the Senses went completely above and beyond my expectations. I planned a last minute company holiday party and he came to my rescue. We held the party in a small bar in downtown San Francisco, which could have easily been tricky with a catering layout. His presentation was absolutely beautiful and he managed to work with the space constraints to provide a menu remembered by all. He was prompt, organized, amazingly friendly and I could tell there was so much love and passion cooked into his food. We had the sopas, tamales, ceviche, stuffed mushrooms, tri-tip and baked brie. My colleagues couldn't stop raving about how delicious everything was. Now I just need another party to plan so I can have him cater again!

My wife and I were looking for a caterer for our reception and so I went onto Thumbtack and put in the specifications for what we were looking for. Arturo was the only caterer to respond and we were so glad. Arturo and Martha came all the way to Monte Rio, which is a long way from Sacramento, for a tasting. We kept saying, "Wow that's the best tamale" "Wow that's the best ceviche," "Wow" "mmmmm," "yumm." The flavors were perfectly combined. We wanted appetizers and our guests received a full on meal. Arturo does an excellent job and is a pleasure to work with. Our guests said that we had the best food, no one left hungry. Arturo and Martha are a great team, Arturo handling the excellent, healthy, yummy food, while Martha helps with the details. I would recomment Arturo all day long and will utilize them when ever we have our next event. We can't wait so we can call them back. Great quality for great price. Chef Arturo and wife Martha were phenomenal. This was my first event for the company and I had no idea where to start. I decided to give Thumbtack a try to at least get some guidance in the right direction. Chef Arturo offered a tasting of his menu. Prior to the tasting we discussed the theme for our party, which was going to be a Winter Wonderland Theme. He proposed the menu to be a Winter Wonderland with tastes and dishes from around the world which we fell in love with. On the night of our tasting he and his wife came to our location and rolled out the red carpet. He brought his cart to cook the sopes and sliders table side. All the ingredients were so fresh to taste. His ceviche, Brie Dish, bacon wrapped asparagus, stuffed mushrooms were delicious and my boss and could not stop eating his incredible dishes. We even had one of our Owners in town visiting as well as Company Executives present that night and Chef brought so much food that they were able to have a taste as well, they too could not stop raving about the food. From that moment we knew that we had to have them host our event. We were working with a tight budget, but they not only helped us make sure we had an amazing menu for our guests, but they knew we also needed a decorator and personally recommended one of their dear friends Joann to decorate for us. They were willing to also help us find a DJ and had so many recommendations. The correspondence and communication were always spot on and we from the start worked together as a team. On the day of the event, along with Chef Arturo, and wife Martha they brought their wonderful staff who just made our night magical. Every detail was beautiful and everyone went crazy over the food. Although our event was held at our office, the decorations, food, ambiance, company made everyone feel like they were traveling around the world on a find dining extravaganza. The heart of our event's success was the Chef, Martha and his exceptional team. The customer service and relentless efforts to make sure that we had everything we needed was felt by all. We had so much food that everyone was able to take the Taste for your Senses experience home to their families. More than just food it was truly an experience that felt like we were home with family. Our party needless to say was a hit and our guests have been bragging on Chef and his team ever since. We will definitely have them with us again in a heartbeat. Can't thank them enough for everything!
