Q. Describe the most common types of jobs you do for your clients.
A. We have 3 divisions within NAHS. Our most common services are one time services for insects, rodents and live trapping of animals, home inspections and termite inspections for home sales. In 2012 we have performed 1 out of every 3 inspections done in the Greater Sacramento area.
Q. Describe three recent jobs you've completed.
A. 1. We trapped a opossum at a state building downtown and released it in the mountains.
2. We performed bird exclusion and abatement on an entire apartment complex in South Sacramento
3. We recently performed a cockroach clean out in a four-plex in North Sacramento. The residents had a pest company that could not get rid of the roaches. We performed our initial service and two follow ups and they haven't seen one since!
Q. What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A. Make sure you don't shop on price alone! Get multiple bids, check references and by all means ask your friends. In 2012 we have received 72% of our business from referrals! Actions speak louder than words when it comes to service. Anyone can promise the world and under deliver. We know we cannot make everyone happy the first time but all we ask is that you give us a chance to fix the problem and we will not fail a second time.
Q. If you were a customer, what do you wish you knew about your trade? Any inside secrets to share?
A. I would wish I knew that all companies use the same products, the same equipment and by and large the same procedures. It all comes down to the technician, their training and their willingness to go the extra mile for you the customer. That is why individual referrals are so very important. If a technician takes pride in his job...it will show.
