- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I have some packaged prices, but rarely use these when I price a package for my clients. Every event is unique and every client's needs are different. I can give a ballpark idea with my packages. But I always personalize packages for my clients based on exactly the services they need for their perfect event.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I was always the person within my group of friends and family who would plan the parties or trips and I always enjoyed being the organized one and watching whatever I planned unfold flawlessly. I loved creating situations where the people I loved had a great time with little effort! When I told my friends that I was going to become an event planner, their answer was "oh yeah. Of course!" The fact that the people who knew me best had no doubt that I would succeed in my career made me realize I was making the right decision. And I have never doubted it.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
Most of my clients have been brides and grooms. I have planned many weddings ceremonies and receptions. I have planned events in all types of locales.
