Introduction: I am a personal stylist who works with a wide range of budgets, lifestyles, and body types. I provide the following services: * Closet Organizing and Clothing Recycling I'm an expert on knowing what to keep and what to let go of. When certain garments are past the point of keeping, it is my motto that: "If you can't wear it, try first to sell it!" I know that most of us don't have time to sort and stand in line to sell our clothes, but I do. There is money for you to earn in every closet in your home. I'll teach you how to find the good in goodbye. * Personal Shopping I've worked in numerous retail stores and have held positions such as sales associate and visual merchandiser. Whether you need an outfit for a special event, or you need coordinating outfits for a family photo, I am the perfect person to call. Our shopping relationship starts off with a 30-minute consultation, so that I can get to know you and determine your needs. This will help me to best advise you on brands, colors, and fabrics that will best fit both your day-to-day needs and special needs. And remember, I am not limited to just adults; I can shop for your children, too. * Styling Your personal style is what makes you unique. It's not my goal to change who you are; just to enhance the person you already are. I love taking what you already have in your closet and revamping it, so that the looks you see in the magazines that you feel are unattainable are right under your nose.

Chantera Gunn is the sweetest, most fun, most ENTHUSIASTIC lovely young lady with a great sense of style. We had a blast going shopping in my closet. She immediately came up with a plethora of new outfits, putting together clothes I had not worn in years and making completely fresh, cool new looks. Saved me a bundle going shopping for new clothes (b/c I thought there was nothing in my closet). She is also smart about money -- we went shopping afterwards and looked at an $650 pair of hard bottom shoes and she knew where I could get the same pair for $90. I was completely impressed with Miss Gunns attention to detail -- small things I never thought about. She was the first personal stylists I've ever hired and I can't believe that I was ever expected to dress myself lol, I absolutely love the experience.

I am very impressed by Chantera. She is a professional, yet very personable. I contacted Chantera on a lark because I wanted to look my best, but I struggle to find clothing that fits properly, especially now that i am over 40 and my body has changed. When shopping for clothing, I will sometimes spend hours and not find anything, Chantera provided an assessment of me, my lifestyle, and my closet. Her assessment was quick and thorough and once complete, she began putting outfits together. I met her at a well-known department store where the clothing was ready for me to try on. She totally pegged my style-aesthetic. We've had other appointments since then and the service was equally as good. During the process, she has taught me how to dress myself in a more sophisticated way, being very honest about what styles I should chose and what styles to avoid. I find myself looking forward to shopping for clothes now, something I have not felt for years. In addition, she is very available by phone, text, email, and in person. She will find clothing at all price points as well. She offers other style services that I did not use, but definitely would recommend just based on my experience. Also, her price was reasonable so that I was able to spend some money on clothing! I enjoyed my experience and plan to hire her when the seasons change. I absolutely would recommend her.

Chantera did a closet edit for me...she is absolutely fabulous and I'm recommending her to everyone I know! She is beautiful (a good sign when you're talking fashion!) and really knows her stuff. I have lots of clothes and she helped me go through them in about 2 hours. She has a lovely way of telling you something isn't right for you. She took pictures of key pieces in order to put together new outfits, and showed me pictures of some things she has in mind which really impressed me. We're going shopping next and she is pre-shopping so it will be no work and all fun for me. She doesn't over sell or try to get you to spend a lot of money and has innovative ways to make small changes with a big impact. I love that she knows where to shop but isn't tied to one store. I have a pretty good sense of style but she's taking me to new heights. Call her...you won't regret it.

What types of customers have you worked with?
The most common types of jobs that I have done for my clients is organize and edit their closets. This allows me to use items they already have to revamp their wardrobe, as well as standing in line to sell their clothes when they were unable to. I also go shopping with them to find outfits for family photos or find outfits for special occasions, such as dress a whole wedding party or find a prom or graduation dress for a young girl who wants to look unique for their special day. I am a secondhand expert so I do a lot if thrifting and consignment shopping as well.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
I understand that you can buy your own clothes and sort through your own closet, but sometimes it really is difficult to assess your own style. If you are looking to take what you already have and cater it to what you need in your everyday life for any occasion I am your stylist! In my business I live by this one quote!
