Introduction: I received a 2390 (equivalent to 1580) on the SAT and a 35 on the ACT, and regularly stay up to date as the content and structure of both tests evolve. As a UC Berkeley grad (class of 2018), I can empathize with the struggles that students have with the SAT and ACT! I started my tutoring business in September 2014 and have tutored over 60 students who have experienced, on average, a 25% increase in test scores. I create unique, customizable lesson plans, because I believe no two students learn the same; the plans combine physical and online learning resources in an easy-to-digest manner. Most importantly, I care about my students and understand how to effectively communicate important concepts, along with offering strategies that are proven to work. I enjoy my students! I love to teach, as I believe knowledge is power. With the college landscape becoming more and more competitive, it is important for students to ace the SAT and ACT. I view tutoring as a game; how can I most efficiently communicate key concepts, while ensuring students retain the information? I enjoy meeting and interacting with new people, and seeing the "eureka" moment when a student masters a problem is priceless.
