I have been working as a fine art photographer for many years. I have also created images for commercial and editorial purposes. I have the skills to create the highest quality photographic images for you. My favorite process by far is to collaborate with families, couples and parents in creating memorable images that become artwork that they want to display forever in their home.
Above all else, I believe in artistic photography that expresses emotion with beautiful light and excellent composition. I don't believe that anyone should invest their time and hard earned money into poorly exposed snapshots with no sense of composition, color or design. Since the digital age, there has been more people tempted to pick up a camera and start a new business "for the love of it." I am a technically skilled artist who has been studying the evolution of contemporary photography for years and I treat your images as important works of art.
I am your personal consultant for fine art portrait photography. I don't believe a professional should snap some pictures and hand them over to you on a CD, so that they can then sit in a case unviewed by your family. I believe that my job is to guide you through the entire process of creating timeless photographs with an artistic touch to the final printed and tangible presentation, so that your images can be enjoyed in plain sight on the walls of your home and in beautifully designed albums, boxes and books.

Q. What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A. When looking to hire a photographer review their portfolio and make sure the images you see speak to you and make your heart sing. If you see photography that is extraordinary and suits your personality then you know that photographer is the right one for you.
Q. If you were a customer, what do you wish you knew about your trade? Any inside secrets to share?
A. It is definitely important that your photographer has the technical aspect of photography wired. Too many photographers these days can pick up a fancy new camera and say they are a professional. But, there is still a lot to know about lighting, exposure, composition, lens speed and processing RAW files. I started out shooting film 20 years ago and started shooting digital 18 years ago before most people even knew it existed. I know the medium well in any format and continue to learn new aspects of photography all the time.

A. How long have you been a professional photographer? How much do you help your clients through the entire process of purchasing photography? Why are you a professional photographer and how did you get started?
