FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Pricing is dependent upon travel, amount of time shooting and amount of shots edited and what type of post production needed photo or video. If the customer can share ideas about those few variables it makes it easier for videographers to offer specific pricing for their services. I think it is always best to identify the work expected and pricing before the job starts!
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I would recommend that the customer gather information on the type of shots they are seeking (close-ups, wide angle landscape, video stills, Panoramas ); I would also recommend that the customer identify a location that will best serve for the shot they are seeking. My intention when shooting is to take a variety a different shots with momentary breaks to review footage to allow customers to see the shots in between so that they can offer up suggestions and tweaks to the shoot can be made and to help ensure client satisfaction!
