FAQs
- What types of customers have you worked with?
My primary function is personal training, which involves one-on-one training sessions in the gym. I create weekly programs for each client which are customized according to the needs and goals of the individual. It addition, I work with them in the gym, demonstrating proper form and monitoring their progress. I also conduct bootcamp group workouts in a local park. These workouts are a nice way for potential clients to get to know my personality and instruction style. They offer a challenging workout packed into a neat 1 hour package. These workouts are particularly fun because they are very social and fast-paced. My third "hat" so to speak is fitness motivation. I provide some amount of this service to all of my training clients, but I do offer a separate fitness motivation program for those who feel they need it. As an endurance athlete I have learned many creative ways to self-motivate during long, tedious months of training and very long endurance races. I can teach you all the tricks you will need to stay focused on your goals, ultimately creating a lifestyle of health and fitness.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Ask a lot of questions up front. Your personal trainer should be able to give you details about the training methods she uses and help to set your expectations of what your training experiences will be like. Personality counts. If your trainer is someone you like and feel you can trust, you are more likely to rely on her as a major resource during your fitness journey. This ensures you're getting the most value for your money from your training experience. Each trainer has her own specialties. Make sure you understand you trainer's strengths and primary areas of interest. This will help you decide which trainer is most appropriate to help you reach your fitness goals.
