FAQs
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
If you're looking for a freelance copywriter / writer for an upcoming project, you probably should talk to three or four copywriters and ask them about their experience, skills, types of clients. Also request portfolio samples and customer testimonials from each. Physical distance from your copywriter doesn't matter much in the electronic age but you'll want to make sure your writer is prompt and responsive, whether it is by email or phone. Most professional writers respond to voicemail and email within 24 business hours. Consider requesting a quote by the project rather than the hour. Some copywriters offer low hourly rates to catch your attention but will end up spending a lot of time on your project. You may end up paying a lot more than when choosing a more experienced copywriter who shows a higher rate but gets the job done fast and right. You usually get what you pay for, so my advice is to stay away from the lowball rates.
