- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
First consultation with Sharon is FREE. Fees are negotiable. Payment plans are available. Fees depend on whether: 1) the case is a felony or misdemeanor, 2) how serious or violent the charge is, 3) how many charges are involved, and 4) what stage the case is at.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Sharon likes to speak with a potential new client on the telephone or in person to find out what the case is about and what will be necessary for the best representation.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Sharon is a member of both the New York State Bar and California State Bar and practices in federal court. Sharon has a B.A. from the University of Pennsylvania, an Ivy League school, where she graduated Cum Laude. She has a J.D. from the Temple University Beasley School of Law as a Beasley Scholar, the school’s highest based merit scholarship. At school, she was an Editor on Law Review. Following law school, Sharon began her legal career at the Manhattan District Attorney’s Office over a decade ago. As an Assistant District Attorney in Manhattan for several years, Sharon handled violent crimes including attempted murder, burglary, robbery, and assault, and financial crimes including identity theft, larceny, money laundering, and cybercrime. As a defense attorney, Sharon has represented a wide variety of people and creates a team to aid in the defense of her clients.
