FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My typical fee for weddings is $1,000 flat rate (or $800 if I don't have to provide the PA). I charge less for other events that don't take as much time and set up as a wedding.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
If it's a wedding or special event, we will work out the specific timeline and music cues. If it's a club gig or party, it's more informal and I just go with the flow of the evening.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I was born in NYC and raised in the small artists community of Provincetown, Massachusetts. I began writing, acting, and singing at an early age. I attended the legendary Saint Anns Performing Arts School in Brooklyn alongside future stars like The Beastie Boys and Jennifer Connelly and received classical training at Stagedoor Manor and Appel Farm in New York. As a child and teenager, I acted and sang in dozens of plays and musicals, including an Off-Broadway production of Runaways in NYC and more recently I starred as Roger in a production of the musical RENT. Throughout the 90's and 00's, I was the lead singer and songwriter in several rock bands: Ghoulspoon (Winner Best Hard Rock Band San Diego Music Awards) and Divided by Zero (Nominee Best Hard Rock Album San Diego Music Awards), and I played hundreds of shows with bands like Foo Fighters, No Doubt, Deftones, Incubus and Sublime, releasing 5 albums of original music along the way. I currently play bass, sing and rap in the mock-senior citizen Weezer/Beastie Boys tribute band Geezer (Nominee Best Tribute Band San Diego Music Awards), and still perform my original material under the name Secret Seven (Nominee - Best Rock Album San Diego Music Awards). I still find the time to DJ and spend time with my wife and 2 young sons.
