FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
First visit is free for an initial 30 minute consultation. This is an opportunity to meet me, receive a quick movement assessment, get a short workout in, and most importantly, get a feel for the high value of coaching I have to offer. From there, I offer 30 or 60 minute sessions with prices starting at $30 per session. I teach a wide variety of training methodologies and rates vary depending on your goals and the style of training you prefer from basic to advanced skill type training.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
First and foremost, quality of movement is very important to me. Safety and longevity are critical to success in training. I first take inventory of any previous injuries or known limitations. I then start everyone with a basic movement assessment to determine the client's current level of mobility/flexibility as well as coordination and strength. With all this taken into consideration, we will build an initial cycle of training that will use progressions to built up to the end goal.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
B.S. Computer Science - yes a bit off topic, but with over 15 years of being an engineer, you can count on me being methodical, organized, and a strong problem solver. For the past two years I have been mentored and work along side doctors of physical therapy specializing in corrective movement and performance optimization. While I am not a doctor, I have developed an eye to identify inefficient movement patterns and, in most cases, can determine where the root of the faulty patterns originate. From there, I can provide mobility drills and techniques to correct the movement.
