FAQs
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to find out what the client wants to get out of their experience so that I can best meet their expectations. I teach such a variety of students and styles of classes that I want to make sure to tailor my recommendations to the client's individual wants and needs. If I feel that they may be better suited with a different professional I will always try my best to refer them out to trusted colleagues.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
200-Hour Registered Yoga Teacher (2014), Dance Teacher Training at Dance Teacher's Club of Boston (2003), Zumba Instructor Certification (2013), Bachelor's of Science in Business from Merrimack College (2008), Currently working toward a MSN/Family Nurse Practitioner with a concentration in Orthopedics at Regis College (expected 2018)
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I was born into the dance business which eventually lead me toward a yoga practice while looking to improve strength, flexibility, & balance. My love for teaching & wish to deepen my own practice guided me to seek an instructor certification in the summer of 2014. After learning more about the human body during the intense training, I decided to pursue an advanced practice nursing degree where I can integrate holistic & traditional therapies to help others reach their optimal health.
