Jon has been the personal trainer for my wife Mary Anne and myself for almost 3 years. he utilizes a wide variety of modalities - body weight, barbells, dumbbells, bosu balls, TRX, kettlebells, ropes,sandbags, etc. Each workout is a total body workout, but each workout is different. We work on strength, endurance, flexibility, balance, aerobics, and anaerobics.He individualizes the workouts for each client, working around injuries and improving muscle imbalances and inflexibilities. Since we are older we have many in the gym come up to us and say that that they can't do what we do, even though they are much younger. It's always nice to be a role model. we are fortunate to have found Jon.

Jon is an amazing trainer and has tremendously helped me reach my fitness goals this year! While training for an NPC Bikini Body Building show, Jon helped transform my body in a way I never could have imagined. His workouts helped me improve my strength, increase my knowledge on weight lifting, and trim the necessary fat I was looking to get rid of for years. His incredible inspiration and motivation to fitness had inspired me through my entire journey and continues to do so today in my everyday workouts. After competing in my first Body Building show last year, I have continued to be inspired through Jon's success to do another show this year as well as become a fitness instructor myself to now teach others what I have been taught. Jon has a great ability to keep his workouts fresh and new, whether it be on the beach or in the gym, and has allowed me to look forward to every session. I would recommend Jon for anyone who is ready to change their body and start living a healthier lifestyle!!! #bodybyakers

I have worked with Jon for over 8 years and he has been such an asset/inspiration to my training, whether it is to get me and my husband fit for our wedding, training my girls water polo team, and running my high school students through a strength training program to help improve their fitness for the Fitnessgram testing. I have worked with him as an individual and he has always challenged me in ways I never knew I could perform. The workouts are never the same, which always leaves me wanting more. My husband and I got into the best shape of our lives after working with him. My wedding pictures can now speak for themselves after all the TRX, Bosu ball, Ropes, Kettle bells, Cardio, Pull-ups, and Strength Bars that Jon put us through. I can honestly say there was never a dull moment. With my water polo team, we went on to become one of the toughest teams to beat as they were able to move faster, shoot harder and utilize the core strength needed to be successful athletes. Again, he used many different training tools to keep their interest and challenge their skills. He is such a friendly guy, yet does not let you ever give up when you think you cannot push any harder. For that, I am thankful to have Jon as my trainer, my friend, my motivator through life.

I've worked with Jon as my trainer for almost 9 years. He is an excellent trainer with a solid background in what works for multiple age groups. I couldn't be happier with Jon. I would recommend him to anyone.

In the past six , seven years Jon's training classes have improved my strength, balance and recovery. Since my work in the construction field is physically brutal on my body especially (now that the mid forty range is upon me), Jon increased the strength of the smaller muscles to prevent injuries. For that I'm very thankful! Thanks Jon for keeping me in the game!
