Introduction: My work stands out from others, because I take a different approach. Though I DO have a bachelor's degree in graphic design, I consider myself an artist, first and foremost. I have always worked for myself, so I have not been tied to the corporate way of seeing things. This has freed me to create work that stands out against a homogenized world of cookie cutter design.
As a kid, I loved to draw and paint. I was given art supplies for birthdays and Christmases, for as long as I can remember. It felt natural, and I loved it. Often times, design seems so formal. I feel thankful, as a father of young boys myself, to be able to create art and design that is fun and inspiring. Just like it was to the kid version of me so long ago.
