I scheduled my hair/makeup appointment 5 months prior to my event with a detailed email of my event times. The day before my event when contacted her to confirm (I had not heard anything from her), she realized she had mistaken my times for PM instead of AM and then decided to charge me MORE THAN DOUBLE her original quote. My original email was very clear and she had ample opportunity to clarify and/or discuss a different price with me prior to the evening before I needed her services. I felt like I had been scammed and therefore did my own hair and makeup for my event. I would not recommend the use of her services as she obviously does not pay attention to important details and did not even bother to contact me to confirm my appointment.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
My continuing education is was done at Paul Mitchell The School San Diego, CA where I was a night school student.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I got started doing makeup in San Diego, California in 2013. I went to Paul Mitchell SD and I fell in love with the entire makeover process. I learned how to properly use brushes and product and from there I've been head over heels ever since!
