Q. What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A. A professional Home Inspection by an Experienced, Certified Inspector should give you peace of mind and confidence in the purchase of a home. You owe it to yourself to find the most experienced, qualified inspector. Professional inspectors carry E&O insurance and are properly certifeid for this profession. Copies of their insurance certificate and Home Inspector certification can be provided upon request. There are no licensing requirements in the state of California, so anyone can legally perform a home inspection. It is not always wise to choose an inspector solely upon their fee. Remember the old adage: "You get what you pay for"
Q. If you were a customer, what do you wish you knew about your trade? Any inside secrets to share?

A. Having performed many types of inspections over the years, I find Home Inspections to be the most rewarding. Instead of having lawyers or bank representatives as clients who never appear onsite to speak with personally, I have genuinely concerned people who are very interested in the outcome of the inspection. It is most rewarding when home buyers receive information from me which establishes solid confidence in their decision whether or not to go through with the purchase.
