Q. Describe the most common types of jobs you do for your clients.

A. We do pretty much everything. But the bulk of our projects usually fall in line with architecture, interior design, urban design, real estate, development, design/build, commercial design, industrial design, graphic design and extensive 3D modeling in all of the above.

Q. What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

A. Established in 2004, KMA:rendering studio has provided over 400+renderings with over 150+ satisfied clients. Many of whom, return again and again for our professional, budget sensitive and timely designs and illustrations.
Get what you need the 1st time and you save down the road.

Q. If you were a customer, what do you wish you knew about your trade? Any inside secrets to share?

A. The client could have his or her architect provide illustrations or 3D modeling services, but you will pay the top-dollar rate. We are outside consultants that work exclusively with architects, interior designs and engineers and transform their plans into beautiful, concise and professional renderings at a much more affordable rate.

Q. What questions should a consumer ask to hire the right service professional?

A. In my industry...the main question is, "What can you offer me that my architect cant?" And the answer is, "These days, within this economical environment, most architects no longer have an 'in-house' employee to handle professional renderings. So, they will attempt to provide you with renderings at their "designer" rates which can amount to a big chunk of change, and you still may not get what you are actually paying for. My recommendation is to ask the architect, interior designer, etc, to provide examples of what you will be paying for. If you are pleased, then by all means, go with it. If you are in doubt, why pay $150 an hr for an unknown product when you can get a professional architectural illustration firm to provide you with exactly what you want and NEED to see for much, much less.

Q. Why does your work stand out from others who do what you do?

A. Most architectural illustrators need everything from the architect, interior designer(etc) and usually need to have them provide a 3D model in order for the illustrator to complete a final rendering.
Not at KMA:rendering studio. We need very little from our clients and in return we produce accurate, top quality illustrations from years of experience in the architecture environment.

Q. What do you wish customers knew about you or your profession?

A. A portion of proceeds from ALL projects goes towards the SAN DIEGO RESCUE MISSION.
