Q. If you were a customer, what do you wish you knew about your trade? Any inside secrets to share?
A. Above all I would hire an interior designer! As a designer, I know the best places to shop for furniture, fabric and accessories with discounts the general public cant get. I also utilize spaces better than most people can to get the most out of your room.

A. The most common question I get asked is:
How does your design process work?
Typically, I meet with my potential client to discuss their general needs and desires of their project, such as remodeling, furniture or fabric needs, space planning, color selection or accessory shopping. I also like to discuss a time frame of completion as well as budget. I try and get a feeling about my clients design style and function or use of the space, such as kids, pets, large family ect., so that I can better design the space or suggest furniture needs. In addition, I answer any questions that my clients might have and come up with a plan of action for their design needs, and start to get the ball rolling on their project.
I always keep in contact with my clients about their projects and send estimates regarding any orders for their approval before anything is ever ordered.

A. I have had a number of wonderful clients that I have helped transform a dull, lifeless space into a functional, beautiful room.
