Question and answer

Q. Describe the most common types of jobs you do for your clients.

A. People love to make a great first impression, so usually the spaces that are addressed first in a design project are the lobby/reception area and the conference room.
After my clients see the amazing changes in these areas, they feel compelled to make positive changes in the rest of the office.

Q. What important information should buyers have thought through before seeking you out?

A. What offices, hotels and restaurants do you think have great style? Notice colors and finishes that you like at other locations so we can discuss how to use them in your office.

Q. Why does your work stand out from others who do what you do?

A. I am a true wholesale decorator/designer who specializes in executive office spaces. I pass designer discounts directly to my clients without marking them up, which saves them thousands of dollars.
I specialize in environmental psychology, and understand how a workspace can impact the people who visit and work there.

Q. What do you wish customers knew about you or your profession?

A. All designers are NOT created equally.
There can be a huge difference in the end-cost that the client pays, especially if your designer takes the standard 10-20% mark-up on furnishings and accessories.

Q. Do you do any sort of continuing education to stay up on the latest developments in your field?

A. I am constantly reading the latest design and trade magazines, and belong to several local professional organizations that help to keep me up to date with the latest trends and requirements for my industry.
