My main focus is residential design, but other projects have included country clubs, restaurants, and professional offices. I'm especially good with accessorizing and I have a wealth of ideas, if clients like to do it themselves, but don't know where to begin.
I am an A.S.I.D professional interior designer and I am also a Certified Interior Designer in the State of California.
I will do a project as small as one window or as large as a whole home remodel.
My clients tell me I'm easy to work with. My rates are very reasonable, and I have great design ideas.
I have been published in Better Homes and Gardens, Decor, San Diego Magazine, San Diego Home and Garden,San Diego Union and North County Times.

Maryann Lorenz brought exciting continuity into our home. She
suggested colors that flowed from room to room. She used our
existing furniture and re-covered solid pieces instead of going new. She placed a desk at an angle: perfect. She put 3 statues
on acrylic pedastals: perfect. She introduced us to stack tables
saving space. She selected superb accesories which are both
exquisite and timeless and have been comforting in style.
She always kept our budget in mind but introduced
options. We found a fabric in AZ and fell in love.
She made the call and acquired same. Her added touches to
furniture such as decorative trim on dining room chairs and
pillows exudes charm. We feel so fortunate to have found
Maryann Lorenz through a referral by close friends.Our home
reflects us but also Maryann's classic good taste. Re the 3
statues mentioned earlier. They are angelic musicians. The
acrylic pedastals are perfect as she wanted them looking as
if they were floating . . . thus NO WOODEN tables: perfect!

I have known Maryann for over 25 years during which time she has helped numerous clients of mine that were either preparing to sell or had just purchased a home.
Recently, competitively biding and showcasing her ideas against 4 other designers, she was awarded the contract to completely refurbish /redecorate our Community Club Center, which has; meeting rooms, library, lounges, recreation, and office areas on the interior and coordinated the choices and purchase of furniture for our patio areas, swimming pool seating, and shade awnings. The completed project design was outstanding; the work was completed on time, and on budget. Maryann always stands behind her work, materials, and those other professionals she hires. It is always a pleasure to see how creatively she decorates a home while maintaining each individuals style and budget.

Maryann is a lovely person with lots of good design ideas and reasonable prices. The first time we met, she had a suggestion for a coffee table, but it was too big for my space. She knew just where to get one custom made. I wanted casings around my windows. She found someone to install them. I needed pillows for my sectional, and she found them. She choose the most comfortable chair I've ever had for the living room--just the right size and color. She found a tiny table that goes perfectly by my husband's chair. I plan to seek her design advice in the future.
