FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Pricing is not set in stone. Generally, misdemeanor cases are charged at $2,500.00 - $4000.00 (I tend to stay at the lower end). Felony charges will normally start at a minimum of $7,500.00, but this too is negotiable.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I believe in getting to know a client. My clients are not file numbers, but are person. It is my job to present the clients as a person to the judge and not just some case number with charges. Each case and client is unique. In a trial, he/she has a name, and it is not DEFENDANT.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
As an attorney, we are all required to maintain a certain number of continued educational courses in our field. In addition to attending the courses, I have also been an invited guess to speak at various seminars. It is my prior experience as a police officer (Sergeant and a SWAT Member) and Academy Instructor that has given me an edge in reviewing report and finding the errors and embellishment that are all too often seen in police reports. They are written to justify an arrest and are not always factually correct.
