A. My advice would be to look for experience in particular field. For example, have you done writs of mandate before? Have you written complex points and authorities for California attorneys?
A. Even if California Rules of Court do not require a Memorandum of Points and Authorities in Family Law matters, it is a good idea to submit one to help educate the judge in complex matters.
A. Do I have to pay a retainer? How long will the project take to complete? Does the professional have experience in a particular field of law?
