I am a highly competent 22 year old math tutor with over three years experience and am currently trying to transition my services from San Diego back to the North Bay Area.

I work the gamut from elementary school kids all the way to advanced collegiate math. I am very sociable and easy to get along with, but also have had a very high success rate teaching math skills in a timely fashion.

I am more than comfortable teaching all math through the Calculus 2 series or Calc 2b, and all algebra based physics with some college-level calculus based physics. After 3 years of doing this pretty much full-time, I have never had a complaint and generally gotten my client way further than they expected to get with a deeper understanding of course material.

Pricing is negotiated upon overview of material, but I can assure you I am very reasonable and flexible if money is an issue. I enjoy helping others and love to see everyone succeed.

Question and answer

Q. Describe the most common types of jobs you do for your clients.

A. The two jobs I consider myself to do exceptionally well are: Assist clients learn coursework material from their respective classes until they are comfortable with the goals they have, a traditional tutor. The other service I offer for people who are time-short is mathxl/coursecompass completion, from one lesson to the whole class. I have math capabilities up to and preceding Calc2. I also have general academic tutor knowledge for all high school courses and all general ed per CSU/UC/JC. Over 100 clients satisfied between Thumbtack and Craigslist

Q. What do you like most about your job?

A. What I enjoy most about my opportunity to tutor is helping others achieve what they might otherwise find too challenging, ultimately discouraging students who may just need the slightest push to get over the academic/math anxiety and successfully complete their coursework. Keeping in mind the job pays me and keeps my own mind sharpening having to rehash material ten times. It's good all around.
