I am a research associate at a medical research laboratory. I have received the degree of bachelor of science (B.S.) in biology from SDSU with molecular and cellular biology emphasis. As I prepare myself for professional school to become a practicing physician, I am devoted to helping you to achieve your own success in school and life. I excel in math and science, and I am able to help with high school and college level courses, including mathematics, chemistry, physics, and biology. I have recently scored 1450/1600 (Verbal 650/800 + Quantitative 800/800) at a 95 percentile for my GRE (Graduate Record Examination). Besides math and science, I am also fluent in Chinese. As a Dean’s List student from college of science and a member of Alpha Epsilon Delta Pre-professional Honor society (AED), I have gained good reasoning skill and formed fine learning habit over the course of my college study. Now, I will pass my knowledge and experience to you! Comparing to a step-by-step tutorial solution manual, I focus on the techniques and methods for problem analyzing, as well as integration and application of related concepts in addition to problem solving. I have been a private in-home tutor for over 3 years, and have been listed as an advising tutor at SDSU Pre-professional Health Advising Office (PPHA). The students I have worked with all felt the sessions are very helpful. I have been told that I have a very easy-going and patient personality by students and parents, and I enjoy spending quality time developing the friendship with my students to discuss issues related to their school and life.
