Recently, I taught a lady who bought some drum lessons from me for her 40th birthday present to herself. She didn't even have a real drumset to practice on, but after just a couple lessons, she was already able to play some rock beats that she'd always dreamed of playing. Needless to say, we were both impressed with her growth.
