FAQs
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I grew up Catholic and my confirmation teacher was a painter. One day when I was sending my brother a care package (he was in the marines) I saw Pat Dwyer, my confirmation teacher, and he offered me work for the summer before I started my first semester at college. I never would have guessed that that moment was going to dictate my future profession. He was a good person and I learned a lot more than just how to paint.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
I specialize painting interior custom homes/offices. I enjoy listening and taking the home/business owner's personal taste and translating into a reality. I believe that colors in a home/office say who you are to your guest that's why I like to develop a unique color scheme that's says as much of my client's personality as the pride I take in my work. My attitude is positive, work ethic strong, and attention to detail impeccable.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
I'm licensed, carry insurance, and a member of the BBB. Anytime you hire a contractor you want to make sure that they not only carry the minimal licensing requirements, but have taken the extra step and invested in themselves. This will ensure that the person who comes to your home is taking the extra step in their business thus taking the extra step in your home or place of business. Hiring the wrong person can be aggravating to all parties involved and the purpose of hiring a professional is to enjoy your time with family and friends. Take the extra steps to review your contractor and enjoy that ice-tea on the porch (you deserve it).
