Sorry this pro can’t do your job, but we know other pros who can.
Introduction: I currently am offering pet sitting, dog walking/running, specialized activities, dog park, dog beach, other dog-friendly socialization, and other animal care. My rates are very affordable. I love taking care of or meeting new pets (especially dogs) and for a while, I had a hard time justifying taking money from people for doing so. I also believe that just because you are trying to get the best care and love for your pet (while at work or on vacation) shouldn't break the bank. Generally for dog walking services, I charge $5 dollars for a quick potty break, walk around the neighborhood, and a little loving to get them through the day while you are at work (10-15 minutes, depending on the dog's needs), $10 for a longer excursion to a neighborhood park, longer walk around your area, and some quality sit-down belly-rubbing time (20-45 minutes, depending on the dogs needs), $18 for an energy-draining romp, your dog will get to walk, run, fetch, play to its heart's content until they can't play anymore. This makes for a nice, tired pup when you get home (time varies based on the size of the dog and energy levels that day). A photo is always included, either through text or email of your tired out dog, and $20 dollars for a play date at your choice of nearby dog beaches or parks. If your dog would enjoy a solo play date at these locations instead of joining other friendly dogs I may bring along, the fee may be raised to $25. Extra dogs in the family/household are free of charge; within reason. My rates are pretty flexible and my prices listed are just basic guidelines to give you an idea of the approximate costs. The prices may be lowered based off the exact needs of your pets, your proximity to me/other pets I care for and how regularly your pets would require care. As far as pet sitting goes I have a wide range of packages based off the type of animal, the level of care needed and the amount of time you would like spent with them. Generally speaking if you are looking for cat, gerbil/rodent, fish or reptile care the prices for each package would be reduced ($5 to $10 less depending on package). If you are looking for care for those animals in addition to a dog or a wide range of animals it would most like be an additional $5 to the package prices. The first group of packages includes feeding, water, a walk per visit and at least 30 mins of one on one loving and or grooming. For one visit it costs $15, for two $25, for three visits $35. Overnight options run around $45 a night and generally are for 12 hour periods but include a midday check up as well. A home stay option is also a variable for pets with separation anxiety who would do best with all day and night care. It would included the all the benefits of the previously list packages as well as additional one on one time and extra walks and outings. This package usually starts at $65 a night but would go up in price if you had a lot of extra pets, house keeping needs, or a pet with special needs beyond medication administration. I do work for 3 days a week. Depending on the length and days of the week you would be gone they would only be left on their own at most every other day from 5 am to 12 pm. These packages can also include basic house care activities like watering plants and bringing in mail or newspaper free of charge. Now that I have more free time on my hands I am hoping to fill some of it spending time with some furry companions. I have a dog of my own (socialize and plays well with other dogs, is extremely well trained and tends to adopt other dogs as her "babies"); we do almost everything together. If your dog or pet would benefit from the company of a playmate she could join us for walks, trips to the dog park/beach etc, or house visits. If training is something that you think you pet would benefit from I would be happy to include that in my visits (I use mainly hand signals, changes in tone of voice, body languages and occasional verbal cues as I have found that to be the most affective with the majority of dogs). I have the most experience training dogs to walk on leash properly (puppies and adults), how to behave in public and around other dogs, teaching them to come on command no matter what distractions, excitement or temptations are around and basic commands such as sit, stay, go get it, leave it, take it etc. I would also be happy to send picture and video updates for you peace of mind and to keep yourself entertained while missing them. I have worked with a wide range of animals of different ages, breeds and personalities. I have cared for elderly pets in need of medication, special care or a little extra assistance/encouragement with basic daily activities. I adopted my dog when she was 3 months old and have assisted many other people who have raised puppies. While puppies may cost a small additional fee I would be happy to assist with teaching obedience, proper socialization with people and dogs, and potty training (additional fee would cover extra potty breaks, assistance with ways to cope with teething pains (and how to prevent mouthiness/biting) and me updating you on training methods that your dog responds best to). I also have references available for the services I offer. I look forward to learning about your pet, its particular needs and personality and what you are hoping to get out of a little extra help with your little loved one.
