FAQs
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Absolutely. I am all about taking classes. I think it is very important to learn from fellow photographers... whether one has been in the business for two years or 20 years. Twenty years ago, we didn't have digital photography! Ten years ago, the public still didn't trust digital photography to be of adequate or sufficient quality, and still today, there are those that choose to develop their film in the real dark room. I think it is imperative to continue to learn, whether it is an online class, online research, chatting with fellow photographers, asking lots of questions, or taking an accredited course. Continuing to learn and master new techniques and new technologies is what its' all about. As a business owner, one needs to know how to market onself. Knowing the technology behind the camera is really the story to success as a photographer.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
Usually we photograph events happen at church such as christenings, pageants, and all of the yearly holidays which we celebrate. Our favourite jobs are working with babies and young children. Adding to the resume, I've volunteered in a local NICU for two years and know a good deal about babies and photography.
