About
We capture the most precious moments. Photojournalistic in approach, we're going to be taking the photos you didn't realize we shot, just when you weren't looking. Expect to be pleased. I love photography. I practically live and breathe it. I feel lucky to be able to do that which I love, and to capture beautiful moments in photographs.

Anjuli spent an afternoon with our family at our twins' first birthday party; she was a professional, warm and enjoyable presence. Her pictures from the day are abs fantastic - we finally feel as if we have found a photographer for all of our major events. -Sonia Sharma

From group shots of smiling coworkers, to wondrous close-ups of the day-to-day in all their detailed self, Anjuli's work through Storybook Photography has a knack of capturing the moments that build the memories we keep of happy times. I have been privy to her work running the gamut from holiday parties, active shoots, glamour, and still life close ups of breathtaking beauty, and it has always delivered. As the official photographer for my company, Anjuli has produced photo series for the holiday parties and other office events, always ready to pounce on the perfect shot while not getting in the way of people mingling and having fun. I've also seen her get some great photos in a fashion/active shoot, jumping into the water when necessary to catch the perfect angle. She is devoted to her work, and a talented artist, and her swift and sure hand with both camera and photo editing ensure her subjects shine in the best possible light. Two big thumbs up!

Anjuli is a great friend of mine. She is kind, communicative, creative and has a knack for getting along with just about any person. It's really an amazing talent. It's as if she melds her self to other people's personalities. When I explain to her what I'm looking for in a photo, or anything for that matter, she immediately grasps the concept, and the builds upon it! I think her photography is not only amazing, but also inspiring. Might I also add, she LOVES BABIES!!! She can't get enough of them. Every time we get together, she talks about babies and how much she loves them. My goodness! So, obviously, this translates to her photography. She even used to work as a volunteer Cuddler in the NICU for newborns. So I tell my friends sometimes that she is the "professional" baby cuddler! She even has all of the equipment necessary for a baby photo session at all times in the trunk of her SUV... blankets, bonnets, wicker baskets. This photographer, with her keen eye for beauty, also used to be a professional model. She is good! Sometimes these days she coaches other models for her photographer friends. She loves being behind the camera now because of her years spent in front of the camera. I love to boast that my special friend, Anjuli, is also a professional model. I love this young woman; a friend whom I admire and one who has many wonderful talents.

I RARELY take the time to write a review, but want to with Storybook Photography. My family is overwhelmed with how well Anjuli captured the "moment" in our faces during her shoots. Even our dog Skippy looked great Their prices are competitive, but I fely they were a good deal because she seemed to have that it factor to deliver a good product. I was right!

FAQs

  • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

Absolutely. I am all about taking classes. I think it is very important to learn from fellow photographers... whether one has been in the business for two years or 20 years. Twenty years ago, we didn't have digital photography! Ten years ago, the public still didn't trust digital photography to be of adequate or sufficient quality, and still today, there are those that choose to develop their film in the real dark room. I think it is imperative to continue to learn, whether it is an online class, online research, chatting with fellow photographers, asking lots of questions, or taking an accredited course. Continuing to learn and master new techniques and new technologies is what its' all about. As a business owner, one needs to know how to market onself. Knowing the technology behind the camera is really the story to success as a photographer.

  • What types of customers have you worked with?

Usually we photograph events happen at church such as christenings, pageants, and all of the yearly holidays which we celebrate. Our favourite jobs are working with babies and young children. Adding to the resume, I've volunteered in a local NICU for two years and know a good deal about babies and photography.
