Introduction: Thumbtack Special: $475 Head-shot/Portrait Session for Personal/Professional Use How it usually works: We meet in an outdoors location and shoot for about one or two hours. After a casual and relaxing photo session, I have you look through the RAW* shots and mark the ones that catch your attention. Within the next 72 hours, I chose 4-8 of the best ones out of the ones you marked, develop them and email them to you. The images are yours and you can do whatever you want with them. *RAW photos can best be described as "digital film" which still need to be developed in a "digital darkroom." My philosophy: More than 50% of photography is psychology. I pride myself on my ability to create a comfortable environment for my subject by being empathetic to their needs. I spend as little time in Photoshop as possible. Some people are simply more photogenic than others which is why a photography is not a direct reflection of what you actually look like. You are perfect and beautiful exactly the way you are; my job is to find the angles and lights that capture you as a human being in the most honest yet flattering way possible.
