Introduction: Photographers. They're artists, really, and they're usually the first to remind you of it. When they arrive it's their shoot, their rules, their vision. Not me. With over a decade's worth of experience as a client service expert I turned to photography as a career not to escape customer satisfaction, but to embrace it with an art form that I'm passionate about. I seek to create surprised and delighted customers with curious, connected, and considerate photographs. My shoot, your rules, our vision. Everything! I know that's a cheap answer to a specific question, but I love my job. I get to work with people who are experiencing a special period in their life that they'd like to remember forever. Every shoot feels like (or actually is) a celebration and I'm the lucky one that keeps getting invited even though I'm a stranger. On top of that, I love making things. I'm an amateur woodworker, a hobbyist bike builder, and an experimenter in the kitchen. It's no wonder that I chose a profession that lets me create artistic objects every day that I go to work.
