Introduction: I provided high-end commercial photography for the most decorated casino resort in the world, Wynn Las Vegas. With over 6 years experience with them in their in-house studio, I have become versatile in everything from executive portraits, food & beverage, product, jewelry and more. Best of all, I work quickly and efficiently, and turn around the photos in a short period of time. Best of all is showing the client the final photo. I often get interesting looks when shooting on location, which the client sometimes thinks is a boring location. It's all about finding the right angle, and light. You can shoot a portrait in a boring conference room yet still make the photo look unique and interesting. It's that challenge which makes my work so fun, creative, and intersting.

Alex took photos of me performing for a charity event at the Smith Center for the Performing Arts in Las Vegas. He photographed me playing piano while attendees were constantly milling around to watch and talk to me. He was so quick and unobtrusive that the audience didn't seem to mind that he was shooting, resulting in very natural poses. After the photo shoot, Alex had proofs ready for me in a couple of days, and I was using my great new photos for promotional purposes before the week was out! I will definitely use him again! Talented photographer, easy to work with, polite, professional, and dependable!

I went to Alex for a professional portrait. He made me feel comfortable and was able to get the perfect shot for me in very little time. I would definitely use Alex again and recommend him to anyone looking for a professional photographer.

I’ve had the pleasure of working with Alex several times over the years, and have always been so happy with his work. He has a great eye but also takes the client’s needs and feedback into consideration, and it’s always a collaborative experience. I’d hire him again in a heartbeat!

Alex did a fantastic job for our family Christmas photos. He made us all feel comfortable and was able to get our two year old to pose! I was super impressed with his direction of the photographs and how he was able to get some classic moments. The quality of the photographs were wonderful. He was prompt and able to get excellent photos done in a short amount of time (because of the attention span of my child). I would highly recommend him to other people.

I worked with Alex by phone and email only to shoot some photos of staff members in California. He was very responsive and open to my style direction (I chose him based on his style being closest to what I wanted), quick to schedule the session, and accomplished exactly what I needed. And better than expected. A fine photographer!

FAQs

  • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

Every year I attend to big photography and media conventions in Las Vegas, to see the newest in technology and take classes. I also am a member of local photography clubs to talk shop with other local photographers.

  • What types of customers have you worked with?

I shoot a ton of portraits for MiraCosta College in Oceanside, from students to faculty and staff.

  • What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

I don't take anything too seriously. This may sound cliche but the client is always right. If they don't like it, I don't take it personally. I work until we find exactly what the client works. Take a bag of cookies... there are probably ten different ways (or more) to photograph them. I may like one more than the other but I'll always end up with what the client wants to see, and use.
