I offer hourly private Spanish tutoring for any level (Spanish I, II, III, IV, V and Advanced Placement which is equivalent to a 3rd or 4th year at the university level).
I am a certified high school Spanish teacher in San Diego, CA. I hold a bachelor's degree in Spanish as well as a masters in Spanish.
My rate is $55.00 per hour (cash only please). I prefer to meet at a coffee shop for tutoring.

Q. What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A. Please let me know what you would like to learn in each tutoring session beforehand so that I can come prepared to teach you. It is very helpful in order for me to provide the best lesson to you and make the lesson relevant and valuable for you. For example: If you want to learn a specific grammar point such as the past tense, you could tell me that you would like to learn how to conjugate the preterit and imperfect tenses. I would then be able to bring worksheets and stories using both in context to demonstrate the differences between the two types of verb tenses.
Q. Why does your work stand out from others who do what you do?
A. I have my credential for teaching Spanish and was once a beginner just like you. I have lived in 5 different Spanish speaking countries (Spain, México, Perú, Costa Rica, and Guatemala). I have my Masters in Spanish as well and above all --a passion for speaking and teaching the language and culture.
