We had an emergency with our sprinkler system that caused us to have to turn the water off to our entire property (yes, house included) for over 24 hours (which started on a Thursday). Then it was Friday, and there were 2 other, separate (non-related to Bruce) irrigation guys, whom we made appointments with, that were supposed to come repair the problem, and they both no showed. I sent a desperate request out on Thumbtack at 3p on that Friday afternoon, praying that someone would respond. Otherwise, the earliest anyone was willing to come was Monday! About 10 minutes after I submitted the request online, I received a response from Bruce with a very reasonable quote to fix the problem, AND he would come right away. At that point, I would have paid him 2x, even 3x what he quoted just to get the problem fixed so we could have our water back on... I sent him a photo of the issue, he said we had options to fix it, and came out - on a Friday afternoon, after 3:30p, in traffic. Talk about heaven sent! Bruce was very honest, and gave us options of how to fix the issue. Since the supplier was closed by that time, Bruce took care of the issue for the time being so we could get the water turned back on. He said he would price out the parts when the supplier opened in the morning on Saturday, and would not charge us extra than what he quoted. Sure enough, Saturday morning I received a message with quotes for parts and he said he would be back in the afternoon to complete the repair. He showed up and finished the repair, AND saved us money! He is very reliable, honest and took care of what we needed. We have hired him again already to repair the shut off for the sprinkler water line. We would highly recommend him. He is truly a good, hard-working man. THANK YOU!!!!!!!

So far, so good. Mr. Perkins responded very punctually and fixed my sprinklers. He seems to know his business and be prepared to keep my costs low. I am asking him to do some additional work for me.
