FAQs
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
First, I typically meet the client at a consultation and discuss albums, prints, and the amount of coverage needed. Otherwise we will go over the details via phone or e-mail. After the agreement has been signed and the deposit has been paid, the date is reserved on my calendar. For weddings, I work with the Bride/Groom and/or the wedding coordinator to create a photographer's schedule. My Wedding Information Form and Photography Checklist is also extremely helpful in providing the best coverage. For family portraits, engagement shoots, or head shots, I will do a bit of location scouting in order to find the best background for the photos. The online private gallery is available one week after the session. The gallery can be downloaded an unlimited number of times for 30 days, though I do offer albums, canvas wraps, and prints online as well. Turnaround time is 2-4 weeks, and any printing orders are fulfilled shortly thereafter.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
In 2012, I graduated with a Bachelor's of Arts Degree in Photography. My professors were very skilled and taught me different types lighting, editing, and photography techniques. My main goal is to capture your portrait/event in the style that you want it to be!
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
At the age of 16, my first photography assignment was documenting the family vacation in Hawaii. I experimented with all sorts of angles and ideas in order to obtain the "coolest" chots for our family album. Who knew that photographing giant sea turtles would have such an impact on my life?! I graduated from California State University, Sacramento in 2012 with a B.A. in Photography and moved back to San Diego to start my business. I absolutely love what I do and cannot get enough of it!
