I am 55, single, and discovered my passion for yoga about three years ago. My love for yoga hit like a tsunami, and I've never stopped learning and delving deeper since I stepped on the mat. I have now completed the 200- and 300-hour yoga teacher trainings, and am also certified in restorative yoga, Thai Yoga massage and Reiki.
Exceedingly happy with her yoga classes, Elizabeth Fitzgerald left her job in San Diego State University and devotes herself to teaching full time.
I find great happiness in sharing the practice of yoga with my clients, who are simply regular folks, with aches and pains and rushed schedules. I help them find a space to relax, re-connect body, mind and spirit, and most importantly, to breathe.
Elizabeth's most successful project was a 6-week series of yoga classes for all city workers who chose to participate, and they continued to do it weekly and even planned to take an additional session.
[There's] so much good energy. I have such love for them. I call this project "yoga for the people".
