Introduction: I specialize in the art of transformation. Often, that is in the form of artwork as well as in the form of yoga instruction. I teach either in a group setting or on a personal level. I began practicing yoga many years ago, during a stressful time of my life and instantly fell in love. The moving mediations of vinyasa offered stillness to my mind and the discipline surrounding ashtanga yoga fueled my internal fire. I have experienced, firsthand, how yoga changes both the quality of your life and your response to life’s challenges. Since then, I have obtained my 500-hour teacher training with Margarida at One Yoga Planet. Currently, she teaches asthanga- and vinyasa-style classes, as well as private and semi-private lessons. My teaching style also incorporates a variety of influences, with focus on the breath, mindfulness and finding internal peace. I am also a graduate of Syracuse University, where I discovered my passion for fiber art. The creation process is both organic and meditative, resulting in the unique design of each piece. The transformative power of yoga has not only changed my everyday life but has also infused itself within my art.
