Sorry this pro can’t do your job, but we know other pros who can.
Introduction: How good can you allow yourself to feel? We offer: * Deep Tissue Therapeutic Massage - We provide intuitive, healing and stress-relieving sessions that are 90 minutes in length. The effects are reported to last for days. Your body will thank you, and so will everyone who interacts with you. * Yoga Classes - The style of yoga taught here at PB Yoga is strongly influenced by a style called Svaroopa yoga. The word Svaroopa literally means "The bliss of your being". Come for the yoga, and return for the bliss. This is the most restorative, intelligent style of yoga that has ever been developed. We have students that are 20 and over 80 years of age, all in the same class. This style lends itself to the level at which your body is currently in sync with. * Naturopathy - This is a study of medicine that offers you alternatives in addressing health-related issues, ranging from headaches to hormonal disturbances, and much more. Phil Selinsky has a background in mechanical engineering, and is able to translate his engineering knowledge into practical applications for our human bodies. He uses Chinese medicine as well as a host of other modalities that offer the most comprehensive insight into each individual's signs and symptoms. This is a one-thousand-percent "wholistic" approach. * Hairstylist, Psychic, Medium and Healer - Tonya Spivey is a gifted individual who helps you to sort out where you are in your life at this time and where it is you would like to be. For your hair color and cut needs, there is nobody who does it better. * Skin Care Specialist - Ayurvedic formulas are designed for each individual "dosha" or mind-body type. The effects are divine. You will feel so pampered and like each and every product that was selected just for you because it was.

Despite all of the good experiences that happen here and the nearly five star reviews this one may seem out of place but I advise you to read this review carefully. I am also one to not usually complain or make a fuss from having a bad experience, but I can't hold my tongue on this one. For a while I had been looking for a good massage therapy place that I can continue to receive future treatments and found this one on Groupon with great reviews. Excited, I scheduled a massage over a month in advance with Kate and was shortly rescheduled by Kate specifically for last night (Monday the 24th) because of a scheduling error. I had to take time off work due to my crazy work and school schedules to arrive to the new appointment date and time. I arrived 15 minutes before my appointment, and I waited. Kate finished her current client and then came over to me and said that she could not perform my massage because she was tired! What?!?!?!?! A little confused I politely asked why, now wishing I that had been blunter. She then went on to tell me that they had just had their re-grand opening the night before and she just couldn’t do it, she was too tired... How the hell is that my problem??? Yet, I was patient with her as she was trying to reschedule me BUT she was unwilling to move someone or make room for me when I will be available. The first appoint she could get me was almost another month away!!!!! I will not take it. What kind of business does not call you or let you know in advance? What kind of business turns down their clients to their face, and can't "properly reschedule you" I went out of my way and took off work to be here on time and you tell me to my face to pound sand?! The whole reason that I scheduled my massage was because I needed to de-compress and de-stress. Kate just made it worse. This was by far the most unprofessional and rude and worst business practice that I have ever seen and experienced in my entire life. If this is the re-grand opening treatment that clients get I am glad I didn't go before or they would have received a lot more than a bad review. Kate is disorganized, and she will lose business, if not from this review, then from pulling crap like that.
PB Yoga And Healing Arts's reply
I would like to try and address the situation that occurred last evening between myself and my prospective Groupon client. I sat with Mike for about 10 min. trying to work with him on re-scheduling. When I said to him that in 30 years of giving my services I had never before turned someone away due to pure physical exhaustion. I had just spent the last several days preparing for our 10 year re-Grand Opening and during that same time I was giving massages from 9 AM to 9 PM 4 days a week. I had hit a wall and I didn't come to that realization until I had just finished working on my previous client which finished at 6:15 PM. After explaining all this to Mike, he seemed so understanding and I sat with him going thru my appointment book to try and find another time and day that would work for him. He had many schedule conflicts because his parents are coming for a visit and they all would be on a vacation for the first week of October and he was only available every other weekend due to his wife's work schedule. I even offered to move another clients appointment around to accommodate his schedule. After phoning his wife to see if he could make it on a few different dates, he suggested that he go home and take a look at his schedule and give me a call back so that I could move someone else from the time and date that would work for him. He never called back. I apologized for the inconvenience. I asked him right away when he first arrived how far had he driven to get here. He said, "It was very close cause I came straight from work and there was virtually no traffic". I told him I was so embarrassed and that in 30 years this had never happened because anyone who knows me always calls be the "energizer bunny", but I had finally pushed myself even beyond my own limits. Mike is getting ready to move to Texas and has a lot going on so I know a good massage would do him a world of good. I would have loved to have the chance to make it up to him when I wasn't dead tired. Please don't judge my entire career based on this one incident. I give all I have and sometimes I go beyond even what I am able to do. With Great Love and Great Respect I welcome you with all my heart...

Kate does a wonderful, relaxing deep tissue massage and an extremely relaxing and thorough yoga class! One emerges renewed from both. We highly recommend both of her services. We have also been to another practitioner at PB Yoga and Healing Arts, Dr. Phil Selinsky, who we also recommend. PB Yoga & Healing Arts rocks!

I have only known two massage therapists in the US, that were absolutely perfect. Kate Danta is one of them. Try a treatment and decide for yourself.
