- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I charge $75/hour of tutoring. I offer individualized instruction based on the specific needs of my student. I tailor every session to support their strengths and support their areas of growth.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I begin by building a relationship with my student so that we develop mutual respect and trust. I learn about their strengths and needs. I encourage my students to focus on what they know they are good at to build confidence. I also teach my students about having a growth mindset so they begin to see their mistakes as learning opportunities instead of something to feel ashamed of.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a bachelor's degree in Spanish, a bilingual teaching credential, I have been trained in GLAD (second language acquisition strategies), and I earned a Fulbright grant to teach English.
