Question and answer
Q. What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A. Chinese Medicine treats the root of a problem, so don't expect a quick fix. The combination of modalities, such as acupuncture, cupping, and herbal treatment can align your body and bring every aspect into balance. I practice functional medicine, integrating western and Chinese medicine to properly diagnose and treat each individual. It is important to treat the person and not the disease.
Q. If you were a customer, what do you wish you knew about your trade? Any inside secrets to share?
A. I would want to know how long a practitioner has been in practice and how much experience they have. I would also like to know whether the practitioner is able to live a balanced life themselves.
Q. What questions should a consumer ask to hire the right service professional?
A. Acupuncturists must be licensed in California. I would also want to get some testimonials and see how much clinical experience the practitioner has. It is also important to know if the practitioner has any specializations in any particular areas.
