Question and answer

Q. What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

A. Getting acupuncture treatments should be easy, comfortable, and affordable. Look for clinics that are open most days of the week and ask your friends and co-workers for references. People who enjoy acupuncture will be happy to pass on info about a great clinic.

Q. If you were a customer, what do you wish you knew about your trade? Any inside secrets to share?

A. Acupuncture may seem complicated, but the primary effect is fairly straightforward: supporting the body's innate healing resources. The amount of support your body requires to rest and repair will be a big factor in how much acupuncture you will need to recover. Many people find that regular acupuncture helps them cope with the stresses of daily life much more easily.

Q. What questions should a consumer ask to hire the right service professional?

A. Find out why the person became an acupuncturist! Ask them how much their services cost, and if they have experience working with the health issues for which you are seeking support.
