I recently completed a Digital Marketing course with Google and General Assembly.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I have a clear sense about what people want to say beyond the actual words they are using. In communications saying things correctly is everything and it's something that comes naturally to me.
- What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
There's a lot of marketing lingo out there and it's easy to get confused about what means what. A brief rundown: marketing is often an umbrella term for: social media, advertising (paid marketing), and public relations (media, but also building relationships with any target audience).
