I am a patient teacher of computer and camera skills. I am a digital media instructor from San Francisco City College, now offering low-cost, semiprivate "tutoring." Receive handouts and demonstration, and do hands-on practice using my computers (or your laptop, if preferred). My lesson plan includes the following: * Suggestions to Improve Taking Photos * Moving Photos from Camera to Computer * Basic Photo Editing (using a free program) * Straightening and Cropping * Resizing for Email and Web Posting (Facebook, eBay, Craigslist, blogs, etc.) * Color Balance * Contrast * Sharpening * Introduction to Windows Movie Maker: Edit Videos — Create Music and Narrated Slideshows (with a free Windows program) * Introduction to Adobe Photoshop Elements Classes have a maximum of 6 students, at $20 for a two-hour class. Classes are taught by Lee Ellen Shoemaker—SF City College professor. We have a California state teaching credential in adult education.
