We adopted a border collie/pit bull mix when she was about 6 months old. At about one year old, she started having some less than desirable behaviors. She would bark and pull while she was on the leash at joggers, bikers, motorcycles and other dogs. We were reaching the end of our rope, having tried a choke chain, a prong collar, even a backpack! We had gone to other dog training classes, nothing seemed to be helping. We called the PoochCoach and from our first lesson there has been nothing but improvement from her. Walking was almost a night and day difference right from the start, she taught us exactly how to communicate what we want from her so she knows what is expected from her. The Pooch Coach is always available for us to reach out to if we ever have any questions which is amazing. You never have to wonder if youre doing it correctly until the next appointment because you can always call to ask! The methods she uses makes the training fun for us and our dog which helps to turn practicing with her from a chore into bonding time that we are all excited about. We cant wait to see what else we can learn!

Both my dogs, Rosey and Happy have been helped through the efforts of the Pooch Coach. She is firm but gets results. The PC is the only viable alternative in SF!

Working with Beverly, The Pooch Coach, was great. My dog was extremely fearful, to the point of being aggressive. But after working with Beverly, it's like I have a new dog. She's confident and happy and I couldn't be more pleased!
