Question and answer
Q. If you were a customer, what do you wish you knew about your trade? Any inside secrets to share?
A. I've been a dog walker for over 15 years. I think that the public doesn't know how chaotic it can be at big dog runs. It's important to understand how your walker chooses their clients. Sure, your dog may be gentle and well trained, but what of his walking mates?
Some of the nicest dog walkers don't say "no" to dog they probably should.
Meet a potential walker out, see their style and check out how they are transported.
Q. Why does your work stand out from others who do what you do?
A. We have exceptional experience, and our service specializes in small breed dogs. Our athletic walkers provide safe, leashed walks in your neighborhood. We stay clear of dog runs. We guarantees safety & fun.
Q. What do you like most about your job?
A. I'm a people person, and I really enjoy working with the dog person, and networking with other pet care professionals. It keeps me learning and on my toes! But the walking time with the dogs is the best. Walking is both zen, and rewarding. I am constantly proud of my business.
Q. What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?
A. My clients want to know if I'm insured, which I am. But checking a walkers references and gauging their experience is more important. No amount of insurance can protect your dog from harm. Instead, know how many dogs are walked in a group, how they are transported? What happens on day with extreme weather? That is where a dog walker can make a difference - and DynaMutts takes great care to follow the rules, and keep your dog SAFE.
We seat belt in the car, take no more then 5 dogs at a time, and leash walk them in your neighborhood.
We are the BEST for small dogs!
Q. Do you do any sort of continuing education to stay up on the latest developments in your field?
A. All of our walkers get CPR certified annually. In addition we take turns bringing a dog thru a training course. I rotate my shifts and walk with each of my individual walkers to insure our service is top notch.
