Introduction: I am San Francisco-based editor born and raised in San Antonio, Texas. I inherited my love of language from my father, who to this day wakes up at 4:30 to read the city newspaper from front to back. In high school, I myself wrote for the San Antonio Express-News, and in college, one of my school jobs was writing for The Harvard Crimson. I received my A.B. in English Literature from Harvard University, and moved to Atlanta via Teach for America, where I ended up teaching English and Language Arts. Currently, I am studying as a candidate for Berkeley's Professional Sequence in Editing. I understand that writing is a challenging and often time-bound process, and I will push you to wrangle with the complexities of the English language in order to accomplish your goals within a short time frame.
