Introduction: Prior to being a Personal Trainer I was a professional matchmaker. My ability to connect with people and to really listen to them sets me apart. I encourage my clients to ask lots of questions, and I want them invested in their fitness program. I understand what it is like to be out of shape, and I also understand what it is like to be in shape and want to make performance gains. As someone gets stronger, feels comfortable in a gym and starts feeling the benefits of fitness, their confidence grows! I love watching the transformation.

Working out has never been this fun in my whole life, all thanks to Jess McCartney! I met Jess six months ago when I had just moved to San Francisco and I was looking for a new gym, all while being just six weeks pregnant. She has always been extremely accommodating to my needs, adapting my exercise routine as my pregnancy progressed, while making sure I am still making the most out of my sessions and getting ready for the day my baby girl is born. She has kept every session so fun and entertaining that my favorite days are those where I get to workout with her. Thanks to Jess and her awesome couching skills not only I have seen huge progress in my overall strength, posture and health, but I have also been able to keep myself on track with my pregnancy weight! I have only good things to say about her as a personal trainer in terms of knowledge, work ethics and overall attitude, always waiting for me with a smile on her face. I cannot wait for my next session!

I've been using Jessica McCartney Fitness as my Nutritionist since mid-July. She took the time to read over food logs, various forms I filled out, and set me up with a plan. She monitors my food logs, sends me recipes and various helpful articles, tips, motivation to keep me on track. In addition, she checks in with me every other week, by phone, in order to fine tune my eating plan. In between those phone calls, she even sends motivational texts and tips. Since I've started with her, I've lost 10 pounds in six weeks! And, I'm not hungry. I'm going to continue with Jessica in order to reach my goals. With her as my Nutritionist partner, I now feel like I can reach those goals. Erica Thompson

Jessica is really outstanding and professional! She works with your body mobility and improves it. She pushes you to a point you want to keep going. I've seen great improvement in my strength, flexibility and energy level. I have lost several inches and pounds. She is easy to communicate with and her guidance to improve health is outstanding.

I worked with Jessica a few years back - she was wonderful and patient. I had 0 experience with lifting anything besides grocery bags, but after working with her for a few weeks - I definitely got a lot stronger! Thanks for being such a great trainer!
