FAQs
- What types of customers have you worked with?
We most commonly perform high end complete home remodeling and renovation projects. We also frequently custom build wooden cabinets for kitchens and bathrooms in our in house cabinet workshop. On staff we have every type of tradesman, as well as home interior and architectural designing capabilities, making us suitable for any type of project.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Do your research! If you are planning to do a large, or even complete home, remodeling project, you need to research your general contractor ahead of time. All too often do we finish up other general contractors' work after the client gets fed up with the previous general contractor they hired. Many people only look at cost when it comes to choosing the contractor, but cost should only be one factor in weighing which company you choose to go with. You need a contractor who is willing to work with you. No level of preparation and foresight can prevent the issues that will inevitably come up during the building process, and you should choose a contractor who is not going to bill you insane amounts in change orders when this occurs. Lastly, listen to what others have said about the contractor. Use their experiences to inform your choices. Ashbury is happy to provide you a list and contact information for the last 6 projects we completed, so you can talk to clients we have supplied services to and hear what we did right and the mistakes we may have made and how we fixed them. Only when you have taken the necessary precautions to evaluate your contractor, expected cost, and other clients' experiences, should you make a decision.
