Introduction: Zack | de Vito is proud to offer design-build and construction services through our construction division. We are one of the very few "design-driven", architect-led, design-build firms in the Bay Area licensed as both architects and contractors. We have a uniquely comprehensive view of the entire design and building process from over twenty years of construction and design experience. This experience ensures a high level of client service and project organization, culminating in on-schedule, exquisitely crafted buildings. Our experience as builders encompasses an extensive, hands-on knowledge of materials, sustainable practices and construction savvy that we bring to all of our clients. We are proud to offer our construction services in a variety of ways: 1. We design and build. We provide design-build services to those clients for whom the process of design, permits and construction wants to be one cohesive and seamless process. Design-build allows for easy transition, from design to construction, and it has helped our clients maintain a dialogue and understanding of the entire process that they would not otherwise have if a new entity entered the process. We have completed many client-based design-build projects, as well as many in-house speculative design-build projects. Our design-build work is award winning. We do it well. 2. We build, only build. We are honored to work with clients and their own architects to act exclusively as the builder for their projects. We enjoy the working relationship of the client and their architect to bring their projects to life.
